These children were more likely to have died than adults. Fortunately, there are better alternatives to getting around by vehicle, including public transportation.

The crash death rate in Canada has fallen 43 percent over the past two decades. In addition, millions of Canadians drink and drive with a relatively low risk of being apprehended.
