Steve Montag has been practicing law since 1998 and has represented thousands of people in motor vehicle accident injury claims. In addition to his private practice, Steven has served as a prosecutor in Illinois, Iowa, and Missouri, and has been an officer of the Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and Cumberlands, a philanthropic organization that assists the poor. As an attorney, he also spent time on the Criminal Justice Act Panel, a program that evaluates and provides advice to attorneys in the criminal justice field. 

Earlier in his career, Steve participated in the drafting of the Inter-American Convention Against Corruption, which was adopted by the Organization of American States in 1996. He also authored two textbooks on ethical issues and helped the Argentine government establish an ethics office. Other notable achievements include being named a fellow of the American College of Trusts and Estates Counsel. 

A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Bill Edwards worked for the Grand Ole Opry and in the tax and estate planning department of a large national law firm. During his time at Vanderbilt, he played football on the team and also took the student radio station on tours of the campus. After law school, he returned to Cleveland. Throughout his career, he represented both individuals and corporations in federal, state, and local court systems. 

After serving as the assistant U.S. attorney in the Southern District of Texas, he joined Arnold & Itkin in Houston. There, he was appointed to the firm’s appellate section. While there, he also co-authored Legal Protection for the Individual Employee. Later, he became a partner at Stites & Harbison in Nashville, a law firm that specializes in employment law and tort and insurance litigation. 

Following his legal career, Donovan S. Robertson was a member of the Illinois, Iowa, and Missouri bar associations. Before retiring, he served as board chair of Coloradans for Alternatives to the Death Penalty, a nonprofit that seeks to protect the rights of prisoners. He also served as a member of the White House Counsel under President W. Bush.
